June 4-EvanTell “You Can Tell It” evangelism training

LGCC has invited David Souther, senior ministry director of EvanTell to conduct a “You Can Tell It” evangelism training on 6/4/2011, Sat., from 2:00-6:30pm.  Registration fee is $10 (includes training material) and the deadline is 5/22/2011.  In the workshop, you will have a chance to learn the following: 

1. What Do We Tell the Non-Christian?
2. How to Present the Gospel
3. How to Enhance Your Effectiveness in Evangelism
4. Turning a Conversation to Spiritual Things
5. How Do You Help a New Christian?
6. Reaching Those Who Can Be Hard to Reach (i.e. cultists, relatives, and children)
7. How to Make Evangelism a Habit Instead of a Headache
8. The First Course Christ Ever Taught in Evangelism

Please come and join the rest of the LGCC family in this meaningful adventure, learning to preach the Gospel effectively to the world. The workshop will be conducted in English and is opened to all English, Cantonese and Mandarin congregations.

There is an optional dinner organized by Pastor Leong after the workshop and the dinner fee is $10.

 

David Souther’s Bio:

David’s calling and passion is making the gospel of Jesus Christ known internationally. His travels have taken him to countries throughout the world equipping indigenous missionaries, evangelists, and pastors in evangelism as well as provide them with the tools and training they need to equip their fellow believers to share Christ clearly and simply. David earned a Master’s of Theology degree with honors from Dallas Theological Seminary where he received the C. Sumner Wemp Award in personal evangelism. He is an ordained minister and is married to Donna, a preschool teacher and licensed optician. They have 3 daughters and live in north Dallas.
