Cantonese Young Adult Ministry 粵語青年事工

詹嘉灝牧師是在香港出生，後來到美國南加州入讀社區大學，繼而在加州柏克萊大學(U.C. Berkeley)求學期間接受基督作他的個人救主，成為一位虔誠的基督徒。當他取得土木工程學士學位(B.S. Civil Engineering)後，在灣區當了六年土木工程師。

詹牧師於2004年搬到德州達拉斯市，入讀達拉斯神學院(Dallas Theological Seminary)。由於他熱忱於講道學和門徒訓練，在四年的神學院受訓期間，他都專注於教牧學事工上。藉著神的恩典和憐憫，他取得最高榮譽神學碩士學位 (Th. M. High Honors)，並獲得教牧學系獎項，更被神學院教授們於2008年畢業生中選為4位於釋經講道上有最優秀表現的講道高材生之一。他的夢想就是蒙神使用，以忠於聖經的釋經講道來餵養神的子民，讓信徒在聖靈的工作下有生命的改變。

詹牧師於2009年加入主恩基督教會教牧團隊，協助主任牧師在講壇的事奉，並負責粵語部青年事工。除了關顧羣羊之外，詹牧師更致力於透過釋經法研經和敬拜領袖訓練，來建立平信徒領袖。

詹牧師與在加州屋崙母會認識的姚至欣姊妹結婚。神在2008年賜他們一個寶貴的兒子顥言。他們為這份寶貴的禮物感恩亦十分享受作父母的樂趣。排球和數碼攝影是詹傳道夫婦的共同興趣。他們也喜歡透過旅行來擴闊視野。

詹牧師是「三元福音倍進佈道」的認證訓練導師和「成長八課」的認證教師訓練導師，並為香港青年歸主協會北美區代表。他曾幫助北美不同的教會去建立門徒訓練和栽培事工系統。

Pastor Kaho Jim was born in Hong Kong and he came to the United States for Junior College in Southern California. He trusted Christ as his personal Savior and became a devoted Christian during his college years at the University of California at Berkeley (U.C. Berkeley). After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Civil Engineering, Pastor Jim worked as a civil engineer for six years in the Bay Area.

Pastor Jim relocated to Dallas, Texas, in 2004, attending Dallas Theological Seminary. Having a passion for preaching and discipleship, Pastor Jim put his emphasis in Pastoral Ministry during his four years of seminary training. By God’s grace and mercy, he graduated with a Master of Theology degree with high honors (Th. M. High Honors), receiving the J. Ellwood Evans Award (Pastoral Ministry Department Award) and was elected by the seminary faculty as one of the four Senior Preachers who demonstrated the best expository preaching discipline among the graduating class of 2008. It is his dream that God would use him to feed God’s people with Biblical Expository Preaching, thus stimulating life change among the congregation under the work of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Jim joined the LGCC’s pastoral team in 2009, assisting the Senior Pastor in pulpit ministry and overseeing the Cantonese Young Adult Ministry. Apart from caring for his flock, Pastor Jim is devoted to building up lay leaders through Expositional Bible Study training and Worship Leader training.

Pastor Jim married Irene whom he met in his home church in Oakland, CA, and God has given them a precious son, Arick, in 2008. They are grateful for this precious gift and enjoy parenting. Volleyball and digital photography are Pastor Jim and Irene’s common interest and they love travelling to different places in order to broaden their horizons.

Pastor Jim is a certified “Evangelism Explosion” Training Teacher and a certified “Follow Up and Nurturing Ministry” (成長八課) Clinic Instructor—the representative of Youth For Christ (H.K.) (香港青年歸主協會) in the North America region. He has been helping different churches in building up discipleship and nurturing ministries.
