“1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”—1 John 1:1-3
Kairos – Youth
Kairos is the LGCC youth group for grades 6 to 12. We meet on Friday night at 7:30pm. Our goal is to reach primarily Asian-American teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging them to grow in righteousness, challenging a few to peer-to peer ministry, equipping them to reach the world with the gospel and fulfill the Great Commission. Our regular meetings have a Bible lesson with discussion, a cell bonding time every other month, workshops with outside speakers, community service and outreach events. For regular lesson meetings, the teens are separated into High School and Middle School. Please visit our home page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/183086188426347/

Ohana – Young Adults
Ohana means family and that is what we are seeking to be. We are Christians who meet for workship, fellowship, and accountability for the glory of God. We always welcome new friends!
When we’re not meeting for fellowship or bible study, you can prbably find us playing sports at a local park, or gym, hiking at a local trail, cooking and eat ing good food, or having big board game nights at someone’s house We seek to build deeper relationships through transparency in sharing, to encourage and build each other up through the Word and to live out the Gospel daily through our actions.

Families in Christ
The Families in Christ small group is mainly composed of families with children from newborns to elementary age. We meet the first Saturday of each month for a potluck lunch and topical studies on parenting, marriage, and other Christian living topics. Meeting time is 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We meet at members’ home primarily in the Cupertino/Sunnyvale area.
Our vision is to be a community that supports each other as we face the very real challenges of raising young children, strengthening our marriages, and balancing work and family, while living out our faith.
If you enjoy food, fellowship and spending time as a family with other families, we encourage you to visit our group!

Better Half
Better Half Married Couple Group is for couples who are looking for ways to make the second half of their marriage a better half. We like the double connotation of the name of “Better Half” as we shift our focus from our children to our spouse.
We meet in a Los Altos home on the second and fourth Friday of every month. We encourage couples who have teenage children attending LGCC youth group (which starts at 7:30pm every Friday at LGCC) to join us, therefore our meeting starts at 7:45pm and ends about the same time as the Youth group.
Our meeting includes singing, Bible or book study, sharing, prayer and refreshment. We often hold fun events and information nights on daily living needs topics (such as estate planning, health, exercise) by outside speakers. Current group members are Baby-Boomers who have been married for 15 to 35 years.
