Children’s Ministries 兒童事工
“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”–Prov 22:6
At Lord’s Grace Christian Church, we believe that God puts every child in our ministry with a purpose. Once a child comes to our church, he/she becomes a child of LGCC. It is our desire to raise the child to grow up in God’s stature collectively, week by week, year by year. It is our desire to see that, our children will have a chance to know Christ and accept Him as their personal Savior at their young age, to grow towards maturity and to become a godly persons in this world. We strive to make LGCC a nurturing place for a child to grow up in.
Sunday Children Worship
By interacting with children from age 3 to 6th grade during the Children Worship, we aim to help them to understand the Gospel and trust in Christ for salvation at their young age. We wish to develop the children in taking the Word of God as their reminder and guidance in daily lives, so that they will be godly people and act as God’s ambassador in witnessing Him to the world.
Time: Sunday, 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Location: LGCC Children Worship Center, Rm. 503
Groups: Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st to 3rd grade, 4th to 6th grade
Children Sunday School
Children Sunday school at LGCC serves pre-schoolers to six graders every Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m., Sunday morning. Children are divided up by age group and/or grade level. Each Sunday, children are introduced to Bible stories, and Bible verses in order to build up their godly character in Christ.
Time: Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: LGCC Building 2
Saturday Children Program
The goal of the Saturday Children Program is to support the LGCC parents so that they can fully focus on God and enjoy their cell group meetings, while their children engage in several enrichment activities such as cooking, book club, outdoor sports, drama, movie night, etc. Through these activities, children will be nurtured both physically and spiritually. They will come to know God more and have a joyful memory here at church!
Activities for Pre-Kindergartners (age 4) up to Middle Scholars (6th grade) are provided every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. 7th graders and above are invited to join the Leaders-In-Training (LIT) group to help out the children program.
Nursery service for infants and toddlers is also available from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a summer program that offers to children from age 4 to 5th grade. It is a 5-day journey at LGCC from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 12:00 p.m. during summer vacation. Our goal is to help our children to understand God’s Word and put His Word into practice!
Children will act as special agents to complete God’s intended Missions base on “themes,” such as Olympians to win the medals of godly characters; or as tourists who will travel back to ancient Rome to hear the Gospel from Apostle Paul and learn to live out the meaning of the Gospel.
Celebrating the completion of VBS, we also host an annual Water Day event for the children and families. It is a SPLISH SPLASH activity for our kids to enjoy and for the families to have fellowship. Lunch will be provided.
We believe that raising a godly child can be done through a relaxing setting like VBS and Water Day, with parents, youth and church members working closely together for the same purpose. We look forward to knowing you more and serving your children in the coming VBS and Water Day!
