Patrick Auyeung

Senior Pastor

Pastor Patrick was born and raised in Hong Kong. He studied Electrical Engineering and designed computer chips for 20 years before being called to full-time church ministry. After receiving his M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he returned to LGCC as a pastor. He became the senior pastor in December 2018. He loves to empower our church members to fulfill God’s specific calling in their lives through ministries such as worship, teaching, preaching, fellowship, caring and prayer.

Brian Leong

English Pastor

Pastor Brian is a lifelong Bay Area guy (with some short detours through China and SoCal) who loves local sports teams, good food and world travel. He has a heart for transforming the community through the love of Christ and helping God’s people live out their faith with courage. Brian spends most of his free time attending his kids’ many sporting events and supporting his wife’s efforts in their neighborhood. He also likes to cook, read nonfiction books about great leaders in history and journal.

Gabriel Tseng

English Pastor

Pastor Gabe is an easy-going husband to Lori and fun-loving father to Karis and Kaden. You will find him in coffee shops drinking coffee, having lunch with folks and generally on the move doing something. He is a thoughtful reader and likes meeting interesting people on the soccer field. He’s a bay area kid with some Socal influence. He loves relationships, both fun and complicated ones. He loves thinking strategy, people, macro and micro events, stocks, sports and coffee. If he wasn’t pastoring, he’d probably be playing or coaching soccer, being general manager at a sports team, teaching poetry, or just hanging out with people and dogs. He brews mead, but he’s not a professional yet. 

Joseph Park

Youth Minister

Joe was born and raised in Chicago, moved to San Diego for college and moved up to the Bay Area in 2016 after graduating from Westminster Seminary California. He has a heart for equipping the church with the gospel and seeing Christians of all ages actively engaging the local community and the world in missions. Joe spends his free time lifting weights and cooking protein dense meals. 

Tammy Yang

Children’s Minister

Tammy was born in Hong Kong and came to the US at the age of 16. She always felt she would be serving the Lord full time since middle school. It was at seminary training that she began to serve the children. She loves to see children’s “ah-ha” moment when the Bible comes alive to them. Working with children is like sowing seeds in their hearts. These seeds will sprout, grow and bear fruit one day.

John Pan

Mandarin Pastor

Rev. John Pan was born just before the Cultural Revolution, grew up in a southern Yangtze village, went to college in Beijing in 1980s, and worked in USA in 1990s. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior before the Christmas of 1999, and soon responded to God’s calling to be equipped as full-time minister. After a 9-year service as a campus minister in the Midwest, he returned to LGCC in February 2016 to serve the Mandarin Congregation. He has passions in evangelism (especially for scholars & professionals), disciple training, expository preaching, teaching Sunday School, apologetics & mission.

Engao Qin

Mandarin Minister

Engao was born in Anhui, China and started serving at church since he was in middle school. After graduating from college, he continued to serve while working full time. In 2014, he followed God’s calling to attend seminary school and equip himself for full-time ministry. And after seminary, he served at CEFCA in the Midwest for five years. In 2022, he returned to the Bay Area to serve at the ACES and by God’s grace, joined LGCC.

Engao is married to Kerui. His favorite pastime is to prepare all kinds of delicious food for his beautiful wife every day. In addition, he likes to read, bike riding, and fishing (only if the fish is biting).

Frank Lau

Cantonese Pastor

Pastor Frank was born and raised in Hong Kong. In 2003, he had answered the Lord’s call to study as a full-time student in the Alliance Bible Seminary and received his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity by 2009. In Hong Kong, he had been serving in EFCC Yan Fook Church for 15 years. During his time in Yan Fook, he had been assisting couples in church to establish healthy family relationships with Christian values. Within God’s guidance, he moves to the Bay Area to join LGCC.

Pastor Frank and his wife Pam married in 2000 and have 3 sons. He loves traveling, listening to music, playing badminton, hiking, and also sharing the power of God with others.

Tom Chiu

Cantonese Minister

Pastor Tom Chiu was born in Canton, China, and raised in Hong Kong. He received a masters in Nuclear Engineering from MIT, and worked in the semiconductor industry for over 30 years. In 2006 Pastor Tom began his seminary education while serving at LGCC and working full time. After receiving his M.Div from Western Seminary in 2012, Pastor Tom started his full-time ministry with his wife Lucia at Shanghai International Christian Fellowship in Shanghai and then Yan Fook Evangelical Free Church in Hong Kong, before relocating to the Bay Area in March 2019.

Pastor Tom and wife Lucia have been married for over 40 years. They have raised two daughters and two sons, with three grandchildren.
